Raja Halim has gained exposure and experience through supervisory and managerial positions that he has held in the banking field for the first 10 years of his working career.

Raja Halim decided to become a full-time trainer in 1995 and until now he has conducted training for participants from various fields ranging from associate professors of a leading university in Malaysia , managers, executives, supervisors as well as administrative staffs from different industries such as banking, hospitality, health, higher learning institutions, communications, automotive, construction & development, factories and uniformed personnel, among others.

In areas of training and development, he  conducts Presentation Skills, Train-The-Trainer and On-the-job training. As for Superviory and managerial skills, he does Problem-solving and Decision-making and other related modules such as Communication & Interpersonal Skills, teamwork, counseling, leadership and Delegation Skills. In Customer Service, he covers quality customer service for frontliners and Managing Customer Service for the executives and Management. He does Business Writing skills and  Report Writing in English as well as in Bahasa Malaysia.

Raja Halim started his career in banking as a credit & marketing officer wherein one of his duties was to prepare reports/correspondences on loan applications which he would present to the Bank’s Credit Committee for approval.

Apart from having held a key management position involved in the credit & marketing functions as well as banking operations of the main  branch of a leading local bank, he was also a certified corporate instructor for supervisory  and customer service training programs in the bank.

While in the bank, he held a key management position involved in banking operations and credit & marketing functions of the main branch of a leading local bank. He was also actively involved in the training function in the bank as follows:
  • As one of the Work Improvement Team (WIT) managers with experience as team member, team leader, facilitator as well as WIT Manager. WIT is also known as the Quality Control Circle (QCC).
  • A certified Corporate Instructor for the Bank’s Supervisory Grid Training Programme for executives
  • A certified trainer for the Bank’s Customer Care Programme for executives.
  • Attended the Facilitators’ Training Programme for Dr. Stephen Covey’s ‘Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People’.
